Week 10 is FINALLY HERE!

I'm so glad that it is the final week! I'm looking forward to the new term. But the advice I would give to an upcoming student is to MAKE TIME! If you don't have time for 3 classes.. don't take three! Make sure u have sufficient time and sources for the classes you take. I was able to do it, but three classes was definitely a struggle with my busy schedule. I wish everyone well on their future classes and KEEP IN TOUCH! =]

Week 9! A WEEK TO GO!

This final project has got a lot of work put into it! I'm just really glad for this block of classes to be done. Having three classes at once really kicked my butt. In my next term I will only have one class (what a relief). So I will have plenty of time to get assignments done. At the end of this week I'm nervous to turn in my final project but at the same time i'm so tired! I'm really glad to be seeing week 10 and look forward to the next term. Haven't got my car yet....BUT hopefully I will have it before the weekend, my friend Brandon is having a surprise anniversary party for his parents and I'd really like to go. TIRED <3

Week 8: Composition 2 WEEKS LEFT!!!!!!!

It's amazing we've almost reached the end of this term already. I'm not going to lie when I say I'm READY for a break. After this class I definitely plan to continue using my blog. I think it's kind of a deeper twitter. =] (@candee_luv) I also like all of the blogs that I'm following and enjoy updating mine. I finally paid for my first car! I'm so excited to get it. It's a 2001 Suzuki Esteem and it's red so I named 'him' Eugene. After Eugene Krabs considering it's a 1.8L and is cheap on gas. ;) I'll attach pictures. I haven't got Eugene yet, but I should be picking him up tomorrow if all goes as planned!

Composition Week 7: AHA moments (:

I've been working really hard on my essay because I really want to score well on the final project in the end. I appreciate Professor Dick's feedback so much! It will really help in the end. It's super important to me to receive feedback from everyone else too! =] This week has been long but very enjoyable.

So I'm finally on week 6 of this term, to be honest I still have yet to develop a schedule where I am getting my work done without the last minute pressure. These past couple of weeks have been really hard because instead of having just 2 classes, I have 3. I think next term will be WAY easier. So time has just been my issue, trying to fit in my service to God, school work and studying, chores at home and personal time has been a bit of a struggle.

Hair!

I'm going to try and post pictures tomorrow, but I dyed my hair yesterday! It turned out a little more..... orange? than i expected but I'll redo it in about 4 weeks! :D

Composition / Random Update =]

So this week is going to be incredibly long! I have a lot of catch up to do and a ton scheduled! Hopefully I'll get some sleep soon. School up to this point has been pretty good. This term in particular has been a little hectic because i'm doing 3 classes instead of my usual 2 per term. It's really going to benefit me in the long run so I'm glad that I'm doing this. Medical assisting was NOT my goal at all when i graduated from highschool, but I don't think I could have made a better career choice. I feel really accomplished at the passing of each week! Nine weeks per term goes so fast, I've only got 4 weeks left for this term. I think what helps me to stay motivated is my grades. I want to continue to do well in that area.

Working Out

I can't post any pics, but lately I've been trying to get in shape. I played football on Sunday and it was SO much fun. I played pretty well but I think that when it comes to long distance running I can't last. So I've been trying to go for walks everyday in line with the rest of my schedule. Finding time to do everything has become a little difficult but I know that it'll all come together! =]

Composition: Week 4! AND other updates.

Its always important to cite your sources! Especially in Kaplan University. It could result in your being accused of plagiarism which could lead to your expulsion from the school. That would...definitely be a HUGE deal to me. So I want to make sure that everything that I do I cite every source that I use and to do it properly. =]

Composition: ...WEEK 3!

Okay SO! I still haven't done much to my blog. It's upsetting.. BUT I promise that I'm going to make time to get this blog looking fancy. =] I'm actually really excited about the final project. I want to do my paper on blood transfusion alternatives. I know quite a bit about this subject but I also want to do a little further research considering I don't accept blood transfusions. If any one has questions about that, don't be shy to ask about it. I kind of feel like i'm writing in a diary..hmm. But I do like the idea of posting something here just to say what is on my mind. I got an app for it! So i will be doing more posts soon. I really am liking being an online student in college. When I was in highschool I was also an online student in a number of schools. So i'm use to having to stay focused with my work. I find myself getting distracted because of sports season!!!!! and because of music (my true love).But somethings in both highschool and college I wish I had the classroom experience for but I really like the flexibility. I do have a set schedule for things that need to be done within the week, but i love having so much wiggle room. I also really like the idea of a blog-o-sphere! I like reading other peoples blogs and how their life is compared to mine as an online student.

Hey everyone, thanks so much for following my blog. I will be updating it in line with the assignments every week and hopefully a few more times within the week. My name is Candice Mackall for all that didn't know that already. I'm 19 years old and I'm from Southern Maryland. My religious belief is Christian/ Jehovah's Witness. I listed a few of my favorite bands and artists below. I also love sports! I'm super excited for the NBA preseason to be starting tonight. I'm a really big Lebron James fan so I'll definitely be watching the Miami Heat game. I also watch a lot of football.
